Free Will, Soul Contracts & The Journey of Consciousness

One of the biggest spiritual questions humans wrestle with is this:

“Do we truly have free will?”

After sharing my recent youtube video on free will, I received many comments from people sharing different perspectives. Some believe we are completely free. Others believe we are trapped in a matrix with no real choice at all.

Personally, I think the truth is far more complex than either extreme.

From my own experiences, healing journey, spiritual awakening, and channeling, I don’t currently believe that free will means we have total control over every single event that happens in our lives. Life clearly contains collective energy, other people’s choices, karmic patterns, unconscious programming, and experiences that often feel deeply orchestrated.

At the same time, I also do not believe we are powerless beings trapped without meaning.

I believe the soul is far more intelligent, intentional, and expansive than the human mind can fully comprehend.

My understanding is that before incarnating, the soul creates a kind of blueprint or “book of life” for growth and evolution. Within this blueprint may exist certain themes, relationships, lessons, gifts, challenges, and soul connections designed to help consciousness evolve through experience.

But even within that blueprint, choice still exists.

It’s almost like the soul writes the outline of the story before entering Earth… but while living the story, we still improvise. We respond. We heal. We resist. We awaken. We repeat patterns. We change direction. We choose love or fear over and over again.

And those choices matter.

I also personally do not view reincarnation as punishment or entrapment. I understand many people do, and I honor their perspective, but my own understanding is different.

I believe souls return because consciousness desires expansion, understanding, healing, creation, and love.

Love itself is one of the strongest forces pulling souls back into experience and connection with one another. Many souls return together repeatedly to help each other evolve, heal wounds, complete lessons, or experience deeper levels of consciousness together.

This does not mean suffering is “required” or that painful things are always spiritually justified. I think humans often oversimplify spiritual concepts in ways that can become harmful. But I do believe that even painful experiences can become catalysts for awakening, compassion, wisdom, and transformation.

To me, free will exists most powerfully in awareness.

Maybe we cannot control every circumstance.
Maybe we cannot avoid every lesson.
But we can choose how consciously we move through the experience.

We can choose whether we remain unconscious or awaken.
Whether we live from fear or love.
Whether we continue old cycles or begin healing them.

And perhaps that is where our greatest power truly exists.

I also want to say this clearly:
I do not believe anyone should blindly follow my perspective, the Wisdom Keepers, or anyone else’s teachings without discernment.

Question everything.
Reflect deeply.
Feel what resonates.
Let your own inner knowing grow over time.

Because ultimately, the journey of consciousness is deeply personal, and every soul unfolds in understanding differently.
